This new data, along with previously published data and ab initio quantum calculations, are used to determine potential energy surfaces for HeCl2, NeCl2, and ArCl2 via multiproperty fits. The starting point of the fitting procedure was fitting a one-center Morse-spline-van der Waals potential to a set of ab initio points for each molecule.

Because the resulting ab initio potential is highly anisotropic, this fit required the use of up to nine anisotropy parameters, many more than could independently be fitted with experimental data alone. Therefore the ab initio potential was adjusted to fit the data by varying as few of the parameters as possible. The fit to the scattering data was carried out within the infinite order sudden approximation. The fits were also constrained by spectroscopically determined rotational constants and experimental dissociation energies except for HeCl2 for which no measurement of D0 is available.

These were calculated from the potentials via a J-dependent variational method. The ab initio surfaces can be brought into good accord with the data by an overall deepening of the potentials and a slight shift to shorter distances.

In the case of NeCl2, for which the best data is available, no changes in the anisotropy parameters were necessary to achieve an excellent fit. For HeCl2 and ArCl2 the fitting required slightly more adjustments, and there are more uncertainties inherent in the fitting method, but very good agreement is still achieved. The present multiproperty analysis confirms that the highly anisotropic ab initio surfaces, with similar well depths for the linear and perpendicular configurations, are consistent with the experimental data.

We believe that these are the best available surfaces for the ground states of these molecules, and that new data or much higher level calculations will be required to achieve significant improvements. Compared to thin insulating film-coated electrode materials, such as aluminum or silicon, composite electrodes are found to have a more stable and reproducible HECL output in a wider pH range, and most importantly, without considerable background emission [ 152324 ]. Our research group has studied a few different composite electrode materials and found that the combination of i carbon black as a conductive material and ii polystyrene or ethyl cellulose as insulating binder materials is one of the best composite material to obtain a polymer layer doped with small conducting particles [ 1524 ].

Polystyrene is one of the most commonly used supportive substrate material in a wide variety of bioanalytical protocols, such as enzyme-linked immunosorbent assays and fluoroimmunoassays [ 15 ]. We have also studied cellulose derivatives to explore more environmentally friendly composite cathode materials and found ethyl cellulose to be a very suitable insulating material for composite film-coated cathodes [ 24 ].

The low material cost of these composite electrodes combined with the possibility of manufacturing them in mass with low technology methods e. In this study, we demonstrate the possibility to mass produce composite electrodes for electrochemiluminoimmunoassays ECLIA with an inexpensive screen printing method.

Morgen employs similar techniques here. The amount of home video footage that exists of Cobain from his adolescence all the way through his relationship with Courtney Love which includes some pretty disturbing drug induced home videois astounding. Montage of Heck is brilliantly pieced together through this home video footage, interviews with people close to Kurt, audio recordings of Kurt and friends, and Kurt's own journal writings and drawings, gloriously animated in what makes for the most fascinating look into the mind of this troubled genius.

Some of the best parts of the film take us through his journals where his mad scientist scribbles and macabre H. Giger-esque drawings show us his reactions and feelings towards the band, their rising popularity, Courtney Love, etc. To call Montage of Heck an examination of Kurt Cobain would be doing a disservice to this great doc.

Montage of Heck is less of an examination and more of a journey, a violent yet graceful boat ride into the seas of one of rock and roll's most dynamic minds. It's a film that is as beautiful as it is brutal, and as sentimental as it is visceral. This is the most honest and in depth insight into a man who seemed to have everything, yet battled demons all his life to find what really could make him happy.
